....
it's online.
Of COURSE it's online.
I never remember to check online for things! Well. I read a lot of webcomics, and they tend to link to each other, so sometimes I remember, but not if I'm not thinking of it as a webcomic.
Oh, well, the library is gathering up the lot of them for me to check out anyhow, so at this point it doesn't matter.
Still.
It's online. I could've been reading them already.
Sigh.

Is the online one a different translation than the English books?

eh I read it on those free manga sites.. generally considered 'not quite legal'
https://mangakakalot.com/fruits_basket
soo they're generally translated by either fans or not paid translators.. soo it can be a bit off in some of the english

Okay that does make me feel better about making the library find them for me instead. I was feeling quite foolish.

I read a lot of scanlations of Manga that are either not out yet or are so old I would be able to buy them in print anymore.
Plus Chinese ones are hardly ever translated in English legally. :}

I have a big part of the Furuba collection, but I lost count somewhere, and now all my books are in boxes I can't check up to which volume is in my possession. :(
I hope to complete it one day, but I'm afraid the last ones are terribly hard to find...
I've been having a lot of book trouble lately. My parents are watching a television series called Poldark, and I've been watching it along sometimes, and it really piqued my interest. It wasn't hard to find the English novels - I ordered the first two just now - but I can't seem to find the Dutch translations. Which is odd, because it's quite popular in England, and there's no reason at all why it shouldn't be translated. Turns out it has been translated after all - after some digging I found out the Dutch title, the name of the translator, and even the number of pages the book is supposed to have. But I can't find it anywhere! Apart from this information there is absolutely nothing to be found. It's ridiculous! There's a mention of it on Wikipedia, but there's no actual page about it. It's like hunting a ghost book. Apart from that I really want to get it for my dad (he doesn't understand much English), it frustrates me to the teeth that I cannot find it. I've never seen anything like this...
