It does not need to fit "exactly". Most Knuffel don't.
It just shouldn't be off by too much. The Knuffel is okay proportion-wise, though one ear up would be better in balance in my opinion.
The whole thing is more about the "balance". Because if people leave too much space to one side (most often they leave too much space at the top, because the head is so small/hair is pasted exactly around the outline of the head, sometimes they try non-chibi style and there is too much space on the left and right, those are the most common mistakes), it looks really really poorly when placed in the images for people's signatures. So I made the square as a guideline, because just telling people that the Knuffel should be in balance with the whole image usually doesn't help, many people don't even understand the square thing. :(

@BlackCat
I just want to point out, I'm not certain you're allowed to have the candy floating around the knuffel or not since we have no idea where the candies came from even though it fits her theme. I'm saying this in regards to rule 5 about: → No other strange unknown objects in your background or
around your Knuffel
→ No "glows" around your Knuffel

Yep, that too.
And, also keep in mind that all the artwork MUST be your own. Because now, with the way how all the candy is pixel art, while the rest of the Knuffel is not, it kind of looks like it wasn't made by you. I could not find any proof, but should I ever stumble upon these pixels somewhere online, it would mean an instant ban for you. Just a kindly meant advice in advance.

aww... °w°
i didn't thought it could being seen as a "glows" :S
i put pixeled candy beacuse it was not the first time i put some pixels sprite in my last knuffel stage..
actually i usually make my knuffel lineart hand-made than scann them and colour with paint
(i usually the base i colour is really big, than when i resize it the coulours mix together better)
and add pixel items only at the end...becausei'm so bad in useing colour programs that i totally don't know how to do in a different way (if i use the pen when i have to make the background transparent i couldn't keep the shades trasparent too ;_; and i don't know how to use photoshop or layers..i tryed but i'm really bad)
i totally gonna make a good use of yours advices.
thank you <3

Yesterday I submitted a wild, and it got rejected for having the wrong concept of evolution. I reread the evolution section in this thread, and I have a good idea of what I need to change. But I'm wondering if there's more I should change and/or add.
For reference these are my Knuffel's stages:
Right now I'm just thinking of changing it so the clothing evolves into the final stage (like how the fourth stage changes into the fifth stage), and changing the fourth stage's hair color to what it is for the third and fifth stage. Is there anything else I should be changing, or is that enough to pass?

I would redo the first and second stage, the ribbon just disappear for no reason from 2-3, so that's not considered an evolution. So I'd start in the first stage having dark blue bra and lighter blue panties, then in second stage they can become a sleeveless shirt and the skirt with the knot from the bow from the third stage in her hair. Then in the fourth stage start the stockings/leggins off as only socks that go just as high as the ribbons to allow for more evolution and mini sleeves in the fourth stage so that the evolution in the fifth with them is more noticeable. That's what I would do anyways.

Thanks for the feedback, but that's not quite what I was looking for. ^^' I was already planning on making changes to my knuffel's clothing for earlier stages. In my previous post I was more concerned about if that would be enough for my knuffel to pass after making those changes.

The clothing evolution should be fine if you keep it consistent and noticeable, yes. It's just we can't determine if the changes are actually enough until we see the changes you have made. So showing us one that's been rejected doesn't help us help you much with determining that since we don't know what changes you're going to make.

Okay, I've made changes to all the stages. I'm pretty certain that my knuffel would pass if I submitted it, but I thought I should get second opinions before I do submit.
So is that enough or do I need to change more?
