A lot of them are just gold recolors. But there are some that are stand alone items. Like the butterfly wig. Very pretty.

You can generally figure out if an item is a GotQ if it's similar to an already existing set, but in gold, and the GotQ items are always like... bigger and better, like this month's has loopy hair bits added to the normal bun's style. So look up items by color in the DAC under gold and find the more fabulous items.

I know Zia/Sunlight was making a list of items/values before the market was updated, maybe they have a list of GotQ items somewhere.

That's a good trick; see if the gold item is different.
I know the gold Hyades eyes and hair which were listed recently were from a Treasure Trove miniset colored gold, but sometimes I just can't tell. But the differences to the item that are more than just a color change... that's a good trick!

Well plus if you're really interested, say you were wondering if the hyades eyes (gold) were a GotQ, you could then search for hyades in the DAC and see if there are other gold items, which would tell you that it is a set in gold, and not a GotQ item. Just a bit of research *nods*

Ah, I see what you're saying!
If there are less than 4 items in the same set in gold, like the Swan Queen set which only has 2 gold items, then we know it's Gifts and not a miniset.

Hopefully by the time there are 4 pulled from one set there will be another alternative!
