@jacob: for me the mixing part is like:
*speaks in Polish, forgets a word in Polish but remembers it in English, struggles to remember and loses all the remnants of confidence she had because she's now wondering how much of an idiot she sounds/looks like* :qwhee: Sometimes my first choice words are in English, thus all the trouble. And then I'm worried that I look like an idiot who can't make a coherent sentence because she's stuck on a word or has small vocabulary or anything the other person can think about... (my therapist will internally scream when I visit him tonight and tell him that, lol XD)
Once we had this interrogation by authorities and I started the sentence in Polish, then with the word "client" and continued it in English. Luckily I noticed after a few words and I was glad the interrogators were young people, so I'm sure they understood my struggle XD I laughed at myself and they smiled, so it was easier to stop thinking I made an idiot of myself 8D

Acting a confident character sounds awesome, although I don't believe I have any acting skills 8'D

@Julez: I really hope it won't take long to interrogate all the "I don't recall" out of me XD

There's no way I can call the other reviewer. I don't think it's even a practice in Poland, I don't recall (hehe) any phone calls given anywhere to any of the teachers.

Well, my group wasn't that hardcore. But on other studies, this type of "writing your thesis" story is very common. It really depends, but a lot of students are like "I wrote my thesis in a month till the deadline *proud voice*". But also many students don't consider reading a book as writng their thesis. So, it's all relative :qlol: For example I couldn't put myself together and was really stressed out (duh, when is mem not stressed out? XD) because I barely hit the minimum page count and I had no other words and was just "hnnnnn this is garbage :mcsweat: "

We had a lot of people like that too. "Oh I stayed up all night and finished my essay just in time for this morning, how great am I" lol not that great XD So long as it gets done it doesn't matter so much as to when.

Also we had one guy who would always give in a faulty memory stick containing his files (my course was photography so you had to hand in images along with written work) so that he could pretend the teachers had lost his work by plugging it in wrong or something. Actually he never bothered doing it at all.

Haha, some students are like that XD that used to be me in school. I'd memorise the poems the night before, or write my English homework 5 minutes before the class actually started... But I was good with memorising stuff and in English XD If it was math - I was screwed 8'D
Lol, good with memorising stuff... used to be... RIP mem's memorising skills, welcome #goldfishmemory XD I'm still pretty good with memorising numbers tho :mcshock:

And well, that's just being a dick, sorry :mcdead:

I used to have really good short-term memory so before the exam I would just read the textbook and then I would know everything in time XD after the exam finished, no chance I would remember anything any more.

Well I always comfort myself with the fact that people like this miss the point...
after all they set the assignments so that we will learn things, so if you cheat your way out of the assignment, you didn't learn anything and you got a nice big debt for no reason :D

Aaah, yes. Learning for a short test 5 minutes before the test ittself and getting a nice grade and everyone was mocking me "ooh, yeah, I haven't studied at all! I know nothing! Imma fail, woo! :mcmeh: " me: But I really only read it before the class, I don't know how this grade even happened o///o
XD

Yeah, that's some comfort indeed :mclaugh: That's the type who rather to buy a certificate and have the paper instead of actually learning the skills... The sad thing is - they'll get a job. The good thing is - they're gonna get fired a lot for the lack of skills XD Hopefully o///o

Well he ended up being an English teacher in China so I have no idea how his course helped at all with that, except for the fact that he met a Chinese guy at uni and starting learning a few things from him XD

Oh this guy sounds like a dick >.>

Well, not many people call teachers here, but at least we have their numbers.

This just reminded me that also one of my friends was sleeping with our teacher for most of our course XD she definitely had his number alright.
