I've been digging yesterday, but I only found a Darkness Halo or something. I'll try again in a bit, maybe I'll have more luck today

I couldn't get on much yesterday except to grab tokens (yesterday by my time zone, anyhow, not sure how it lines up with server time).
Today I will try and dig, though!

I'm finally back at ten tokens after missing some days during the first part of December. :}

I haven't been at 10 in ages. Got other priorities nowadays. Couldn't keep up with the items as it is

I seem to only ever use my tokens to buy the monthly items. Don't think I bought anything else in that shop yet. :}

I was never able to buy both the monthlies and other items either. Never got the chance to buy the normal ones because I had to spend it all on the monthlies. Not very motivating.

True. It's especially demotivating for newbies I guess, as they have to start with zero. :}

They can pick just whatever they want, so I'm not sure if it's that demotivating for newbies at all. For them it's mostly free items.
For vets who once wanted to collect all items, it's just another impossible discipline, so I pretty much dropped it all. As a newbie, I'd probably try all over again.

Being a collector at heart I know what you mean. I think one of my only luck's is that I have been here so long already I actually already managed to acquire a lot. And I'm still not even close to getting everything.
If I came here as a newby now, I think I would certainly not even try. :}
