Yeah my mom used to add them to cold, leafy green salad. I have no idea why but the texture when they're raw and cold is a bit off putting.

There used to be a type of mushroom I would eat raw, for salads. It’s this special already washed and cut up portabello mushroom that was used to be found at Costco. J think they still have it, it says that it’s been specially washed and I remember just popping the mushroom slices into my mouth and eating them llol. XD

My mom used to use white button mushrooms in salad. I've never heard of using portabello mushrooms instead.

I also don't like avocado for the same reason. Also it's tasteless

I haven’t eaten fresh avocado in awhile. I usually eat avocado with lemon juice and salt. It’s yummy that way lol.

I think they were portobellos? I remember that the skins were brown.

That's fair if there's an allergy. I love avocados too! The texture is odd but I love adding it warm/spicy meals.

I can't stand the texture of mushrooms unless they are chopped up and cooked into something.

Avocados is just a straight up nope for me. I can't stand the texture and I don't like guac because of that too. My sister loves that stuff and it's so gross.

You know what's weird is that I can't stand greek yogurt because of the smell. Well, now it's the texture too unless it's in a smoothie or I use it to make a healthy fruit dip then it's fine with carrots. I know when someone is eating greek yogurt cuz that smell is so gross. Makes me wanna gag.

I don't find that weird. I hate the smell of greek yogurt too. One of my coworkers loved to have it for breakfast and I would sit there and suffer.

Everyone I tell that too, they tell me I'm crazy because they don't smell anything when they eat greek yogurt.

it smells like bitter, sour milk to me. I hate it.
