Yeah probably like a smaller version of a portabello. XD

I LIKE that weird mushroom texture. XD its the reason i sometimes ate those twice/thrice washed cut up portabello mushrooms raw. I just loved that weird texture. XD

I don’t mind most dairy/yogurt but my sister recently bought some non dairy gmo free or whatever yogurt. And it tasted really really ODD. Like it was just ughhh. I just made a face and finished my little yogurt-not-yogurt cup as quickly as possible. XD

I can't even tell you what I think it smells like, just gross tbh.

I would give you my mushrooms then if we ate a meal together that contained mushrooms lolol

Oh when I was dieting hardcore, I would splurge on this healthy ice cream that was like over $5 for a pint. I once accidentally grabbed the one that was made with coconut milk. It was soooo disgusting. Hated that I threw it away because it was so expensive, but it was just too gross that I couldn't eat it.

I have a lactose intolerant husband so I can confirm that coconut milk ice cream is gross. The coconut is too strong. Almond milk based ice creams aren't as bad though.

Never tried almond milk based ice cream before. I'm like kinda lactose intolerant. It's weird cuz some things affect me and others don't. I remember baking cookies for my fam using almond milk and I was really hoping it didn't throw the taste off. It didn't so no one was none the wiser lol.

The only issue with almond milk is almonds are a common allergen. I've baked with it plenty of times though, and I just warn people that if they have a nut allergy they shouldn't eat it.

Very true. Didn't even think about that. I don't usually keep milk on hand and when do need it, I try to buy the small drink size so I'm not wasting a lot. That's one of the reasons I like almond milk is that it lasts longer.

I myself don’t like any other types of milk. I’ll drink soy milk but I prefer actually milk and not milk made by other things. XD;;

Yeah some raw mushrooms smell kinda weird. The smell usually goes away once it’s cooked. I personally love the smell of dried shiitake mushrooms lol. XD

I can't drink straight milk. The last time I had milk was I picked myself up some cereal at the store the other day...but before that, it had to have been days. It's okay if it's baked into something.
Now that I'm thinking about it, that's why my stomach was so upset yesterday. Because I had milk and cereal for breakfast. smh.

I don't think I've ever smelled that before. Now that I think about it, the only kind of mushrooms I've had at the white mushrooms and that's because it's usually added to stuff people cook (I always leave it out if a recipe calls for it)

I love straight milk. XD thats why, apart from soy milk, i will not drink any other milk. I think any other milk is nastyyy. XD;;

If you go to traditional chinese medicinal stores (we have a pretty large chinese diaspora community in canada), they have dried shiitake mushrooms, in open air, pick/shovel your own baskets or boxes or bags or whathaveyou. Traditionally, some people would pick up dried shiitake mushrooms and smell them. I think (not sure) that if the smell is stronger, the taste is better. If it doesn’t smell, it might indicate that the mushroom will have a very light taste. And, for shiitake mushrooms, its best to have stronger tasting ones.

Someone tried to give me skim "milk" as a baby. Their logic was that I was a baby, I wouldn't detect anything different
