This is all very well as an epic, tragic star-crossed lovers tale, but really you just tell everyone that so they'll leave off pestering you to find someone.
Then Autumn hears of it and starts leaving little notes for you to find, in the wind-swept drifts of fallen leaves, and you decide maybe you really are in love with him.
You've yet to figure out quite how to leave signs for him in return, but pondering this makes a pleasant change from the aimless pass of centuries, so at least there's that.
