Like sure, we had two professors for Indian philosophy. But with my first professor, I couldn't pass the shit for my life, you could put a knife to my throat and I would have to die beacuse for me it was impossible. With the other it was a breeze and she even gave me a 4 (second best grade). Same class, but totally different people, totally different approach to teaching/examining and as I found out later, different approach to the philosophy beginnings (they seriously butted heads).
I just realized I passed an exam with a good grade only because I had an other examinator... *rings a bell* shame...

job opportunities? you mean the "yay, a professor is fucking her student so I can grade his paper instead of her 8D" ??? I think our professors are too lazy for that XD Seriously, one time our professor (he's actually a doctor, plus he's my thesis supervisor) actually said "please pass this test guys, I don't want to give you any additional things so you would pass, I don't want to waste my time on reading it" me: wtf?

I guess like they hire a certain amount of professors? for that subject and tbh I don't think they're thinking of that kind of thing when hiring and deciding to have so many teachers. I haven't been to uni...

Well tbh they'd spend hours marking and grading..and preparing for classes.. I wouldn't want to spend a extra minute grading...

I think in my department they don't really have that much replacement. I think most of the professors only specialise in that or another thing, so they are all reluctant to replace another professor. At least as far as my experience goes (which is only 3 years on uni, exlcuding my 1 year learning for philosophy to finally pass it by luck).

Well, I totally understand the laziness, I wouldn't want to waste my time on an idiot's failed test either xD

I assume the uni that's at another town, while rather big probably could be a bit smaller than a city uni.

Although it is a uni town.... which for me explains the amount of pubs.

I know that at my uni a professor from the English department has a relationship with a master student from the German department. She also gives a few classes, but only tutorials.
Still, you are not allowed to have relationships with profs/teachers/tutors which you have classes at. The rest is fine. So yea, they are not allowed to grade you.

To be honest though, I would never take a class given by a person I am having sex/a relationship with... O.O

I'd say it depends on the uni as well.
