i also lost my taste for like a day or two after getting covid. it was very unnerving. like i'm already sick and now i can't even get enjoyment from eating. 8u

Fooooooood. One reason why I hate colds in general is that you can't taste anything. What's the point in eating if you can't taste iiiiiiit.

Weirdly enough normal colds and the flu i don't get. Flu shot sends me to the er tho

I usually get a cold every year, but because of masks I've been spared for the last 2 years. I've gotten covid once and honestly the worst part was the headache and fever for me. Its good to keep in mind though that I was fully vaccinated with an mrna vaccine and boosted by this point so my body was ready to fight it off.

Yeah its the main reason i hated getting covid. I mean, it was only a few days but when you’re sick AND can’t taste anything, its like all the enjoyment in life is gone. XD

I'm so glad I didn't get that. My coworker got it and he said his morning coffee just seemed like hot water for two weeks.

Omggg nooo that would suckkk. Like what would be the point of drinking it, might as well just drink water lol.

That just sounds really gross, lunar_eclipse66. Like, I can't imagine drinking plain hot water on a good day because I want to (because I wouldn't, tea and hot chocolate are the only hot drinks i tolerate), so it'd be awful if your daily coffee tasted like that. Blergh.

There are cultures where they serve water warm/hot, so for them it would just be that

I've had hot or warm water before, but I couldn't imagine it being a normal thing.
