Kingdom of Knuffel

After three weeks of no taste I was starting to get seriously depressed. I lost more weight from the simple lack of eating than from actual COVID.

Aaand I got sick so I am on leave from work (or rather I announced I was too sick to work, they weren't happy, thing is, I would have sucked it up and went if it wasn't for the fact I am routinely expected to do the job of three people). It's not COVID, I got tested but it doesn't look like the flu either so guess I'll just try to sleep it off.

I always drink hot water, especially during the morning. I bring a thermos of hot water and drink that til noon where i switch and make tea and pour that into my thermos. I find warm liquids make me feel better when its cold and the cold irritates my respiratory system.

I normally don’t drink coffee myself, its either tea or hot chocolate.

Oh my god I could only imagine! I love food and tasting it so I think I'd snap if I couldn't taste anything for 3 weeks.

I believe East Asia is where it's most common?

i dunno maybe? i mean, if you go to an asian restaurant and tell them you want water and tea, they give you two pots: one with hot tea, the other with hot water. xD if you want cold water, you hafta ask.

@Kitalpha Hart, Yeh, and there's nothing wrong with drinking hot water just like that, I just don't like the taste, lol. Then again, if my water is not really cold, if its even slightly close to room temperature, then I don't like it, so this is a me-thing...
