I see . thank you . because someone told me that they were time limited when i said it was almost sold out XD .
but it was nice. :) .
it shouldve been for a bit longer in my opinion though ,for the people who DID buy like 6 of them

No problem. Lol.
I was glad she put in the extra 500, but, yes, I do still feel bad for people that may not have been able to get even 1 when there are people with 5 of them.
Maybe she'll put a limit on the amount of event knuffel one person can buy in the future. I don't mind people having 6 copies of normal knuffel since they are usually in the shop for quite a while anyway. But, buying that many of a special knuffel (that even had the price reduced so new members could buy one) doesn't seem right to me. I only bought one. I even gave 1k to a girl so she could get one before they sold out.. Then I see people's profiles with multiple copies (2 is okay, but anything more is.. eh..) and I'm just thinking wtf are you doing?
Yea, I know if you wanted 1 frozen at every stage you would need 5, but who actually does that? I haven't seen anyone that buys 5 of each knuffel and then actually gets them all to 100 and freezes them at separate stages. Having 1 or 2 should be enough. At least when it comes to an event knuffel (a Christmas event knuffel at that. Isn't Christmas about GIVING?), I think people should refrain from buying a ton of them, especially when it is only 1k so new members can afford it easier.
Just my two cents though. What a rant. Lol.

I think people should only have been aloud to get one. That way more people could have gotten one instead of missing out. Why do you need more than one anyway it's not like you can sell them.

Whether the users can actually get every single one of those five Knuffel to level 100 to freeze them into different stages is another question.

So you want 4 people to be without knuffels so you can have 5 different pictures?! I'm sorry but that is greedy and mean.

I don't think that's what anyone wants.
But there were more Knuffel for adoption than KOfK even has active users.
You have enough food to have adopted 75 of these Event Knuffel, yet you did not adopt even one, so lack of food clearly was not the reason that kept you from getting one of these Knuffel.
I think people usually figure "If they don't get one, they don't want one, so I can get more instead".
These Knuffel weren't available for very long, but still for almost a week.
I understand that KOfK has users who just look at this page like 4 times a month or even more seldom and therefore could have missed the announcement before the Knuffel was sold out.
But they still had 6 days and if they chose not the check the site and the announcements more frequently, then I do not think this is the fault of regular users who come here every day or at least on a more frequent base than once a week and therefore could adopt the Knuffel, or even multiple ones.
What I am trying to say is that you should not hold other users responsible for this. Maybe it is my fault for not adding even more Knuffel, but it is not the fault of other users!
I value all users, but I am not ashamed to admit that I value the ones that come here regularly and keep this site alive more than the ones who just check in 1-4 times a month. And I am not ashamed to say that I am happy if these regulars profit from coming here regularly somehow. They are the users because of whom KOfK even exists. The ones who come here everyday, who call this place a home.
If others miss out on things it is not the fault of the users who come here regularly.
Knuffel are first-come-first-serve. Now, if the Knuffel would have been gone in a matter of hours I would think it was unfair to say "Your fault for not checking earlier", but I think 6 days is enough time to say that it was well within everyone's possibility to see the announcement in time if only they looked.
On a side-note: We will release an option that will make it possible for users to give Knuffel up for adoption again and will give other users a chance at getting these past Knuffel again next month, so maybe this will give some users who missed out on this announcement the chance to still get the Knuffel.

Man, I was hoping to get one of these knuffel. I haven't been on due to being really sick and not having a working computer or internet, so I didn't even see the events until yesterday. I can't be upset at others who bought more than one of the even knuffel, but hopefully I'll be able to get the next event knuffel if there are more

And if that option comes up like you talked about Firn, maybe I'll be able to get one of these ones then, that would be amazing~
on a side note, love the snow animation! it fits with the new knuffels so well!

Oh, people will love that!
I may give up some of my older knuffel so new members have a chance to get them

I dont understand. Are you talking about me here? I do have an event knuffel and I love her. I only have one of each of my knuffels so that as many as possible can get one of their own.
I am not attacking you. I am not questioning the time the event knuffels were available for. I thought it was greedy of people to get more than one. I thought the point of the lower price was that as many people as possible could get one. I did not know that we will be able to give back knuffels to the adoption agency in the future.
I am a regular user. I am here almost every day because I love KOfK. I am not attacking you. I love the event and I am grateful for all the hard work you do on the site. It seems that every time I say something or has an opinion about something, you jump at me. I am not attacking you.

I am sorry. That was my misunderstanding. I thought you were complaining about not getting one, but looks like I made too fast conclusions.
