@Meg
I don't think you would be betraying your other hangouts. >w< I try to jump into a lot of other hangouts other than the two I frequent now (Mouse's and mine). I used to be a lurker too, and just read, but I guess I've come out of my shell.
Spoiler
I can't thank you enough, omg. ;3;
@Luna
Hey Luna~ ^^ Welcome! What is up?

Oh that's cool! I've recently started RPing, but the person I am currently role-playing with left during the middle of our RP. ;w;
I'm currently working on a piece of art. :D

-tsk tsk- But the person didn't even notify me she was leaving the RP. I think she just got bored and left, haha. XD
Drawing a portrait. .w.

Huh. Well, I at least make warnings beforehand and/or notify them that I'm not interested when I'm about to leave. XD;
Portraits are fun~ Especially when it's of your own original characters. don't like drawing real people all that much. :P

Though, when I do decide I will ever role-play again, I might leave the person too, so I can't complain. I'm really big on grammar errors (which is ironic since my French grammar can kill French grammar Nazis), and spelling mistakes.
I only like drawing real people when I like their face. >_<; Otherwise, I stick to semi-realistic drawings and just play around with where everything is going.

I'm pretty big on that too. And syntax and style. Once I left simply because the other's writing style was not my cup of tea and kinda ruined the storyline for me. >.<
I just draw those imaginary people in my head and play with their features. XD
To be honest, I can't remember when exactly I last drew someone real other than myself. -w-;

I've only role-played once, but I can sort of relate already. >w> I like reading descriptive paragraphs that allow you to continue the story.
Yeah!~ Most of the time, I just doodle, and try to imagine what that person would look like. Once I put the features down, I just mess with them, and see what I can do. For some reason, though, most of the time it's always the same facial type, and the same details. It's like my signature drawing—something I can whip up anytime. >w<
