The first half is unrelated to Painties. They're talking stuff like images
So if someone likes spamming some shirtless dude they have a crush on, well, it's against Furvilla ToS now

So if I have a villager who is an herbalist, and they plant something that takes 3 hours to grow (if there even is such a plant), and then they switch to explorer and explore for the next couple hours, and then hour three they explore for that hour, switch back to herbalist....
will the stuff they planted still be there? And ready to harvest? Or will all things planted disappear when the career changed?
Okay, here's my profile link, for anyone who wishes to do the friend thing:

There are three hour plants, I've had a couple
They might've made it like FR. Cant change Flights when a pair is nesting for FV's can't change careers while they've got sommat going on (like an herbalist with a growing plant)
But idk for sure since I'm not playing the game that way

So after 6 failures in a row, the animal trainer succeeded in raising the domestication level 1 time on this critter.
Grrrrrr, it's hard!
I'm tempted to switch it to explorer and see actual progress, you know? Except I'm afraid of losing the animals if I do that!

I don't think you lose any progress or recipes etc if you switch careers. Cause I know if you teach a recipe to a villager, they will know it forever. So if you go back to being a doctor you will still have all the recipes you taught the villager, and the progress on them.

Well, a recipe is a bit different from a plant that's growing
Man, I'm halfway through building a house for my fifth villager

Yeah, I wasn't meaning if you were busy crafting a recipe or searching for a pet. Just like, progress on careers in general. They won't lose the ability to make potions if you switch between careers all the time.
You have 5?? I only have two villagers so far xD

Well, that's good to know, at least!
So the potions that heal illnesses are from the doctor, the apothecary, or the herbalist?

As far as I know they're from the doctor.
The herbalist grows the plants that are used in the potions and other(?) recipes. I'm not too sure what the apothecary does though.

The doctor
I think the apothecary is stat boosts and stuff
Four at the moment, but to get the fifth slot you need to build a house
