eBay is awesome, but I would suggest to use paypal if you were to use it. (just like all websites people try to scam you -__-)
And Nan, that sounds nice :)
And on gumtree you cal also ask people to do odd jobs for you, and if a person accepts they get paid.
It's handy, and many places go on it to hire people too~

I don't tutor through Amazon, but I do mechanical Turk tasks to earn a little. (Mechanical Turk is a site for requesters to post mini jobs that can't be done by robots.)

rebecca: Oh I never thought about using paypal other than donations to kofk or when artists ask for paypal payments only :o
Nice! Kinda like craigslist..?
red: Not on this thread, but I do remember you from another one :) Not sure where though...
ink: Interesting :D

I think so, but I haven't used craigslist, but I think they are pretty similar!!
And Paypal is pretty good, because if the person scams you, or something happens you tell paypal and they'll send your money back. (If you sent money from your bank account, to theirs then you have lost the money.)

Like for all of the times I had issues with a product and needed a refund, I got it. (Usually the sellers are pretty good about it, but paypal is like having insurance, you hope you don't need them, but when you do it's great).
My bf describes it as "Safe, easy and convinient".

I used to have Paypal but remember a few years ago one of their policy changes had me decide to drop using them...
only at this point every option is terrible, so I may as well go back to them; they weren't that bad in comparison!
(I really object to all of the big companies making things more and more unequal and unfair for their customers. Those EULAs are getting pretty awful)
