We have sites like that in my country. No use for me on those though, as they want people to write in the native language and I write in English. :}

I don't think we have sites exclusively for writers. But maybe I have to look that up :qhehe: *gets nervous just thinking about it :qsweat: *

The one I'm on isn't just for writers, but for students/graduates in any field. I get photography work from there sometimes too XD

I'm still pretty sure we don't have anything exclusively for graduates. We only have sites like "looking for a job? we don't care about your education/experience/qualification" (<-- lies!) and you just either search yourself through adds to which you're either unqualified for or overqualified, so they don't want you, or you fill out the questionnaire and hope you'll match someone's qualifications. Still the best way to get a good job is through family/friends. Or be a fool and have luck.
And there aren't that many adds for writers anyways, and they mostly want "experienced" people. Disencouraging in the least.
Me: Oh, i know, I'll just write a book and publish it :qg:
my brains: ahahahahahahahaa you call that a book? lol nope, so much nope.
me: okay, so I'll go work in some magazine or website or anything and start from there
brains: look at the job offers :qsq:
me: so much nope. such little chances. weltschmerz such wow :qsob:
brains: lol, I told you :qlol: :qc:

I have weird talks with my brain sometimes :qd:

Thanks, Sunlight!

Maybe take some free work or start a blog. I worked for free a few times. Not many, mind. The second you have experience you can show you demand money because otherwise you get taken advantage of. You can find something like a local magazine and offer to write a few articles for them.

I've been thinking about it, but I can't get the courage to even start to look. I'm so insecure it hurts :qd:
Maybe one day, we'll see...

You can trick yourself a little. Tell yourself you're just doing the research, you're not going to act on it :P Sometimes I trick myself that way into doing things I'm scared of haha. Before you know it you have all the research and then there's no reason not to follow through on it.

Is this thread dead/no longer updated or why is there so much, not in topic, chatting happening..? And does anyone know which page has the last knuffel update/spoiler etc (I tried to look, but... wow)? If there is any.

EDIT to the reply after this:
OK, thanks.
