What's Nano? I wish you luck!

Haha well, I do have fun, but usually I end up dropping the things I started and forget all what I've learned, sooooo yea, not really useful there.

Nanowrimo, or National Novel Writing Month, is a writing challenge held every year in November. Basically you're to write 50k words in one month to finish. :}

Do you already know what you are going to write about?

I have some ideas. I'm hoping to make a start with some original pieces, so am concentrating on that. But I am also working on some fanfics. :}

Very good :) So you don't have to write one story, it can be many stories?

Yeah. I've been a bit of a rebel from the start. Cause technically you have to write one story, but you can write anything you want really. :}

i like that nano also lets you set your own goals, so while 50k words is the default, you don't have to take that as your goal.

my goal for nano is just to write a little bit every day. but november is also finals month which makes it difficult for me, i've a ton of term papers to write
so while i originally told myself nano would only be for my original fiction and fanfiction writing goals, i'm now using it to motivate myself to write 20k words worth of essays in about two weeks... it's tragic

I once succeeded doing nano by counting all the letters I had to send in November. It had been so hectic there was nearly no creative writing done at all. :}
