Did someone pick 1? Cause it was 1.
@Kuuki
I haven't stayed in a temple yet. I assume it was traditional lodgings? I actually like the feeling of tatami mat. When I was a toddler my parents would lay out a woven mat and some blankets for me to play because they didn't want me on the cold floor so the texture of tatami is very comforting for me.
@River
If they're shifting you should get an x-ray at least. Even if you can't afford it it's a long better than an even more complicated surgery where your molars are damaged and impacted. Do they cover wisdom teeth removal on medicare? You'll have to check that. I had to pay for mine.
@Mika
HI MIKA. Yay, another player :3 This makes me happy.
Welcome back Chrizine :3
I'm ill so I keep falling asleep everywhere. I was curled up on my computer chair and next thing I knew I was napping with my face against my knees.

I don't think anyone picked 1.
Well if it hurts often and what not I'll go to the dentist.
Apparently I might be able to go get a medicare referred x-ray at a hospital but not sure it'd be my towns hospital. Maybe Armidale or Tamworth. Which are hour and more drive away. This is just from talking to a friend who works at a dentist in town.
I did ask him the cost of a check and clean and x-ray. About $260+ ish. Approx.

@Poshi: yes it was.
Aha, then you'd be perfectly happy living in my appartment because, even in the middle of Tokyo I have a room with only tatami mats.
Everytime people talk about healthcare the prices always scare me.
And I don't when I'll be able to get online next so I'm choosing 3 for the next round.

I will have to opt out of my parents family insurance too when I start working and pay for my own :'( what a pain
@Kuuki
Perhaps. I heard tatami requires a lot of care. I would definitely destroy it but a one night stay where I can roll around on tatami floor makes me happy.
I'll wait for some more picks to come in tonight before I roll

It's not much the care, more that it gets old and needs replacement in more or less 15 years. And it's also really bad for allergic people.
Otherwise, it's just as annoying as a normal carpet.

2 today Kuuki.
Well I hear it's a pain if you drop food or drink which I'm bound to do. I guess I am happiest with floorboards. They keep your house cool in summer (but it gets really cold in Winter) and they're easy to sweep, vacuum and mop :3
I have a lot of allergies so maybe I shouldn't have rolled around on that hotel tatami haha. It felt nice though. Are you renting the place you're at atm? I wonder how many Japanese people actually own their own homes especially in tokyo, it looks like mostly apartments and they're so small.

I wonder what tatami floors are like, I've never seen one.
I like wooden floors, they're a little warmer than stone or tiles but still don't catch dust like rugs :)
We currently have some sort of linoleum floor though, but it's quite okay. Just smells a bit odd when you mop it.
I pick 3.

I forgot about the food or drink dropping things. You're are right, if you drop one of those it's finished, your tatami will never be clean again.
Which is one of the many reason why shoes and slippers are completely forbidden on tatamis.
I have a wooden floor on every other room in the apartment but I've never seen such an annoying floor to clean.
Just once hopefully be have any bad effect on you. I can sleep on it without problem for a day then get a runny nose just from walking on it the next day.
The BF owns the place. We have 3 rooms + living, kitchen and bathroom, more than enough for the two of us. Some people do, it depends on the place inside Tokyo, they're not many I'd bet, it's one of the most expensive place I've never seen.

I've never had private health or the like.
Just public or healthcare card when I was on centerlink.
