I agree. I always go dark mode if a website offers it. I wish it was like a night sky kind of background. Maybe with some stars.
Especially since I work on a computer all day. I don't know how younger me did it.

I forgot about the foresty background! It was nice but I also find blues very soothing and it's pretty low contrast with the beige text area so I rather like it. I think an evening sky option would be very nice, though, and still on-brand.

I’ve been busy at work (well i was running up and down stairs yesterday lol). Since operations is on holiday next week, the retail portion needs to have all the stuff they need for next week. XD;; AND there’s also the new store opening and apparently foot traffic there is SO much better than here. So they’re constantly asking for new stuff to stock the shelves and the poor kitchen staff are getting run ragged. But i’m sure that once the kitchen over at the other store is fully fitted out, the pressure will eventually drop. Until then, most of the baked goods and prepared foods are coming out from this location and they have to do “shuttles” every day to bring stuff back and forth.

I can’t wait to just sleep for a week lol.

I can't wait for my week off. I just need to make sure I get everything set up so when I come back I ain't running around like a chicken with my head caught off. At least I can get everything organized and not be like the mess I came back to after being sick for a week like last time.

I'm weird, dark modes hurt my eyes more than light modes
Now, if it were somewhere in the middle and not black/white, yes. Better. Like tumblr classic or the old dA green

Tumbr's classic dark blue was really nice and easy on my eyes.

I usually go for like grey/dark blue options if it does give you an option. I have my work computer in "slate" so it's more gray than black. Because white text on black does hurt my eyes after a while.

Oh my gosh, I haven't been on tumblr in a long time. I remember writing a post on a game, like just idek, but someone drew it into a comic and I felt...special. Cuz someone noticed it. I might try and find that later.

That's so cool! I haven't been on tumblr in ages but I remember the color of the site because I could scroll on my phone for hours.

I used to use it a lot because I was actually really into a lot of fandoms back then. I stopped because I wasn't really into the drama with everything. Plus I was using it as a time killer in college and I slowly stopped getting on there after that.

That's fair. I used it for a lot of anime fandoms but then I there was the drama with the porn ban thing and right extremist groups were posting whatever they wanted. I also had zero time for it anymore.
