It's been ages. How are you? Still in photography?
I do still love photography, but it never became more then a hobby. I still often find myself trying to take a picture and remember all the things like proper lighting :mclaugh:

I'm hoping to have a good year! Its very much possible :mclaugh:

And you? Still riding around people? :3

Mynah,

I see your point, but generally I'd say everybody has the same chances and the same rights to migrate, having specific skills or not.
But I agree, I think it is a good idea to navigate through safe spaces, as you mentioned. I am really happy to hear that you are having good experiences in college!
I can't and do not want to imagine a life with lower equality. As Merry said, there are still spaces where we have to experience gender inequality, racism and the like, but considering there are SO many places where it is SO much worse, we are having a good life here. Sure, there are ways to improve and we have to strive to do that, but we should also not forget what a good life we have actually.

wisdom right here. once someone in my college said that they didn't feel the college was as safe for lgbtq as it should be, and this guy began arguing with them saying that it's worse in the rest of the country. and i was like, just because it's better than the rest of the country doesn't mean that there's no room for improvement. why should you stop improving, or pointing out things that could be better, out of some messed up sense of 'gratitude' that you're not persecuted here? the guy who was arguing was literally saying that they should be grateful and shouldn't complain. :mcargh: piece of shit. thankfully others were quick to call him out, especially as he wasn't lgbtq himself and as a cishet male had no idea about the experiences of lgbtq in the college.

i'm glad i'm privileged enough to be able to find and have access to safe spaces. wish the world could become one gigantic safe space.

As long as there are people that pull the 'it could be worse' card during arguments we still have a long way to go.

But I agree. We can all try to improve the world around us, even if by just a little. We need to build a better place. :}

Haha thank you, I have my wise moments xD

I agree with you!

This year has been super expensive so far ._. I bought tickets for many events I love and do really look forward to! (but they were expensive ...) :D

Well, I am sure you will get back to it, no need to force it :)

I bought tickets for 'Lord of the Rings in concert' which happens to be in my city. Then I am going to see 'Harry Potter and the Lost Child' in June and I'll be going to a festival in June also.
I also discovered that I love to boulder so I bought shoes and chalk and a chalk bag which was also around 50€ alltogether. And I bought a big backback, for travelling purposes. AAaaaand I also have to pay my student's fee this week. One last time.

Whew, speak of expensive, do not go to Tel Aviv if you're not intent on spending a lot of money...
