I used calligraphy pens for mine. First time ever, too
Hence why at the beginning, they start off being simple but get more extravagant as time goes on

Yep, I just doodled what ever came to mind. Or even things I thought up, because of things said in conversation over here. :}

That sounds like fun! I'd like to improve my very limited drawing skills. Even if I just get to the point of doing cute little doodles. I'm not aiming to be able to do portraits or anything realistic.

Exactly. I only did it because I'd been art-blocked for years and just wanted to see if I even knew how to draw anymore. :}

I should just draw all the pokemon. That would keep me busy for months.

Months? aren't there enough to keep you busy for over a year.

There are currently about 720 and there are only 365 days in a year, so it's nearly 2 years.... wow. :}

Well I figured I'd probably do more than one a couple days.
Sometimes I really feel like drawing. So the goal would be to draw at least one Pokemon a day. But if I feel like it I could draw more.

Well in that case it would take you shorter.
But then there are also the trainers, team rocket and such to draw as well. :}

True. I could draw a lot of the different kind of trainers.

I really like a lot of their outfits.

So then we are back at it taking at least a year again. :}
