I am going to go shopping later today, I can give you a report afterwards :D

Yea, my region in Germany is on lockdown since Saturday I think, but it was necessary because we have many infected people here (though very few deaths), but there were too many people in crowded spaces.

On a happier note, what I like about the Corona crisis is that I get in touch with people whom I haven't talked to in a while and it's very good for the climate. :D

In a way this situation is one of the best things that could happen for the climate, but we all know that the moment people can move about again they will go right back to do what they did before, so it won't last.

The Netherlands have ushered out more rules as people just could not keep themselves to the ones we already had. So now there is the possibility for enforcers to actually give people fines. Maybe that will help a little.

Oh and Merry there's a new website for those stuck abroad; bijzonderebijstandbuitenland.nl. Poorly it's not for free, or even cheap. I believe it's 900€ when outside of Europe.

Unfortunately that is completely true. We won't learn from this. Everything will be back to normal after this pandemic...

I went shopping yesterday and I expected worse. There was enough fruits and vegetables (except bananas?!), enough dairy products, still a lot of canned food. A lot of alcohol. The only things which were rare were the cheapest pasta (nevertheless there were other brands), bananas and bread. Oh and I checked - no yeast.

New rule here is a strict door policy, basically at the door you either take a cart or a basket and then you can go inside.
Are the carts/baskets gone you'll have to wait to get inside.

I went to get some arts stuff, but there were so many empty shelves there as well. Luckily the things I needed were still there. :}

Great that you can keep yourself further occupied with art stuff!

I went for a walk today, been out for 1 hour, had my camera with me. I've seen around 10 people maybe? And a few cars. I think people here realized that it's serious :)

I hope my cold will be over soon, it's about a week already.

It's what is keeping me sane right now, and I'm not even a social person by nature.

Should take my camera out as well, right now I only go out to get food and to walk the dog. Neither of those are photo worthy trips.

Yea this pandemic is doing with with everyone, it's really... annoying.

But my friends and I developed some methods to be able to spend some time together and this way I had no lonely evening since .... Wednesday I think? Because I watch netflix together with some friends, chatting with them at the same time. We play board games via skype as well :D Or I just chat with friends via skype, too.

Indeed, you should! Taking the camera is also a good excuse to go outside!
I was actually waiting for a bit of frost and cold (months ago), but as this winter was very mild, I did not get the opportunity to take some nice frosty pictures.
Yea, it's mostly flowers and trees xD

I wish we had had some frost this past winter too. The world looks so serene when it's a little frozen.

Finished a drawing today. Haven't finished anything in over 3 months, so that feels really good. :}

Indeed! But I am not complaining, I am a summer person anyhow :P I just hope this whole thing will be over then so that I can really enjoy summer.

I am making progress with my thesis as well. On good days I write about 700/800 words, but I also had bad days with just 200. And work is fun, too. I try to practise guitar every day and exercise every day. With all of this my days pass very quickly

Right now keeping yourself busy is one of the more important things.
If I had't my creative outlet I'd be jumping up the walls by now. :}
