nope, I don't think so. (not sure anyway)
I think it just helps to jot down the position of items as you are opening new cards, so that you can get bonuses for getting consecutive matches.

Ah so. I just remember there positions as I've always been really good at doing that. :}

well, it's doable to get enough points without writing it down, but it's so much faster when things are written down. XD

Highly doubt that as I take to long writing it down (tried it and failed miserably) so I lost even faster than ever before. :}
