Well, actually, it is no different from now, because... during those times when it was 6K fps, I was a newbie back then-- and thus, I was still too poor.

I don't sell a lot of my stuff, I probably should, but I like to hoard my things. cx
Especially sets, because now, looking back, I wish I'd kept those parts I sold.

though I'm happy the freeish or event items are still a pretty good standard too.

I agree, this spring event is lovely. Last year's spring/easter event was not the best in my opinion. I couldn't get it right. With all the planting and watering, and times to water and fert. It was annoying and frustrating. ;-;
