@Hart- ah, okay.

I don't mean to get on the topic of the Bible here, but I don't trust the NIV as close to the original text. I definitely would prefer the King James version for study, seeing as it is supposedly the oldest and closets to original. People say the NIV is just a better translation, but some of the "meaning" is completely different. I don't trust it one bit.

Albeit language does change with time... That does make the matter somewhat complicated.

The Bible has nothing to do with organized religion. The KJV bible was translated out of hebrew by men so that we could understand it and there's nothing wrong with that. I am apostolic - It's a relationship thing for me. I don't read the Bible as much as I do, and granted sometimes I have to pray that God give me understanding to understand some parts of his word, for religon; which is man made for the record. but it's his word. It's not open of interpretation in regards to the messages it protrays.

But anywho.. I'm going to stop from there on, i don't like making people feel uncomfortable. 8)

It's kind of bizarre, since one can't claim to be an atheist without some study and knowledge of the Bible. Like Dan Barker's book- hordes of Bible study. I guess it doesn't make sense to be an a-theist if you have no idea what theists are claiming. It makes sense in an ironic way.

I'm getting kind of sleepy..~

I took a nap today, I keep doing that after class... so I'm not sleepy even though it's late. Bleh, I've totally messed up my schedule.
