Very nice :) Short though, but I think my boyfriend wouldn't have been able to deal with more... He's not a big fan of going on vacation. He was pretty angry when our flight back was rescheduled from midday to evening already :D (Although I have to admit, that was a little inconvenient since we didn't have a room throughout the day anymore and had to go get a coffee somewhere whenever we needed a restroom.)
It was a citytrip (we went to florence), so we (I) did some shopping, visited some museums, strolled through the city and ate tasty food a lot. Also, drank awesome coffee - I know why I love italy ;)
But yeah, a lot of walking around, so I can see why he would find it tiring.

Ooh, Florence! How long have you been there?
Why is your bf not a fan of vacation? XD I love vacation, I could be on it all the time :qlol:

It's a lovely city! (I've been there multiple times already with my mom, but it has been a while - not much has changed though :))
We spend 5 nights, which is longer than I'd ever been there before. I wanted to also make a daytrip to Lucca, but couldn't motivate my bf.

Not sure :D He likes being at home? And he gets stressed out by organizing it, worrying something will go wrong (like with the reservation or the flights or something), he won't find food he eats (he's rather picky) and the like... And he thinks it's either too tiring or boring. Or both at once :D
But I think mostly he didn't have a vacation that he really enjoyed yet. I'm afraid this one wasn't that either... It was our first real vacation together. We still need to figure out what kind of vacation we will enjoy together (or rather what he will enjoy at all) - I don't think city trips is the thing for him. I should probably reserve those for going with my mom or my sister, they're more into it ;)

Haha, I kinda get him, I hate worrying something will go wrong. And I always worry and it always does anyways XD

Have you tried taking him hiking? Maybe he'd like this stuff? :o

No, not yet. I want to though! When I was a kid we always spent summer in austria to go hiking. He hasn't really tried it, but isn't terribly excited by the idea. But I do hope I can convince him to try it at some point... Maybe he'll find it boring though. But you can never know without trying, right?

Well, I hope once you take him hiking, he'll actually enjoy it. It sounds hard enough not to be able to enjoy your vacation :qhehe:
