Still christmassy to me though

And you can have various types of garlands

Let´s just go on with our love to her, and not discuss about garland paper streamer things, I think we could dicuss that till we´re blue in the mouth.^^

@Lady River: That's what I meant
@Toxic: But how long can you discuss that? With Garlands at least we go somewhere XD
Blue in the mouth? I don't know this expression.

Last bit on it, wiki says it's confetti

but tbh depends where you grew up to the name.
I love her hair

In the UK we would definitely call them streamers.

Ah, okay then, we have the conclusion: streamers are a kind of confetti.
I like the hair, too, the multicolor is nice

I wouldn't personally call them confetti - that's small pieces of paper, card, etc that you throw up into the air (normally at a wedding, but in more modern terms also at concerts when they are fired from cannons). I would think of it as you can make confetti out of small pieces of streamers. Maybe streamers and confetti are interchangeable in the US, but not here as confetti pieces are much smaller than streamers.

It's a kind of confetti, I didn't say it's strictly confetti

I wouldn't call it confetti either, but that's what the definition said. But for me it's more like confetti is torn streamers xD So in general I agree with you, jacob
