That's neat Dream & Sunlight! :) Got my 2nd almost 2 weeks ago, so I'm done for now. :)

I'm only hoping for the Netherlands to hurry up and relax a bit with all the rules and restrictions so I can go on a relaxed holiday. :qg: :qg:

Also, do you read a lot? In the 7 sisters series by Lucinda Riley the seventh sister seems to be a Merry as well.

I'll just wait for it to get cheaper though. :mcheh: :mcheh: 'cause I'm cheap/poor like that. :qhehe: :qhehe:
Thank you so much! It's really old though, it's the second Knuffel I ever made, back in 2012, I think. I was in graphic school back then and I loved working in Illustrator. Haven't used that in years! I personally like my plane designs best, but I don't think they were as well-received as the animal ones xD
I can give you the FP if you want, I'm just happy when people like my Knuffel :)

I used to read so much, but lately I haven't been able to read even a page, sadly... this Seven Sisters series seems to be really popular, what kind of series is it? This seventh sister sounds like a great gal ;D

Merry's username is from a song title, I believe.
Yep, Merrymaking by An Cafe. So many memories...

I don't think I'm even getting close to getting a vaccination invitation. Not that I'm in a hurry, mind. I hate getting jabs. I was so relieved (and proud!) that I finally had all my travel vacs done, and suddenly they come up with a new one. Merry's not amused :mcmeh:
Tomorrow I have an intake appointment with the dentist. It's my first visit in almost 14 years. I've been able to put it off all this time, but it's going to have to happen now, mostly because my wisdom teeth get infected time and time again, and last week it was so bad I even had to call in sick. My phobia is so bad I can only be treated anesthesized, and even then they have to use a sleeping gas first before they can insert the intravenous drip. Tomorrow they won't be doing anything yet, but even then just the idea it killing me. So yeah, the last thing I need is another needle being woven about in my vicinity :mclaugh:

Grats on your vacs, though. I hope it'll keep y'all safe!

Well Jolien, I hope corona will loosen its grip on us, because if we keep on relaxing while it's still here... let's just say we did that earlier and look how that worked out for us. :mclaugh:

Thanks! I think I'll just go grab it, it's cute. :D

Dentist isn't my favourite either, many years I waited, last year they removed my wisdom teeth and I think they should've done it sooner. They're evil, they destroyed a few of my molars. Or at least they had a big part in it. At least that's what I figured out this week. I must say that even though I always fear it a bit, in the end they're really nice and it didn't hurt really. The other dentist I usually go to has so many pain relief paste's ans whatever that I really didn't feel anything at all.

Recently I checked the website and according to the plan, everyone should receive at least one before the first of July. If it helps, I did not feel the needle at all, I did have a sore arm for a day bit, but that was all. As if I had sported a lot, but that would'be been weird. xD

These books are really popular, it's not needed to read in order, but it helps a bit with the overall story. It's mostly romantic stories, with in every book a historical story about one of the adopted sisters, looking for their roots, somewhere in the world. The main storyline is based on a greek myth about stars, that's what the girls are named after as well.. I thought especially the history parts were really neat, often based on real, historical characters with some fictional people who also live in the same time.

A fear of dentists is no fun. Hope your visit goes well Merry. Is yours a specialist in people with phobia's. Somebody I knew was deadscared of them as well but had one like that and said it was such a relief to them.

I got my vaccine because I am in a risk group to get it bad if I get sick. And even then it was a bloody hassle to get my invite. From February on I had to make several calls to several places just to be on the list.

If you tell them you have a fear of needles they do take it in account though, Merry. I even had to have a quick intake conversation with a doctor because of my allergies.
Plus they have beds for people that might faint/get sick.

You're Dutch right? Then you can check online to see when your year of birth comes up.

When my best friend asked me how it had felt I had to admit that I have had mosquito bites that sting worse.

If you do decide to get yours, take somebody with you, and state you are not fond of needles. They will accommodate for that. :}

So, how did the intake go? :)

/English error, failure ahead/

Not going to reply in Dutch. I gave up typing in dutch years ago, even text messages have a tendency to move over to English halfway in.

That first dentist really doesn't sound like they even knew what they were doing. Glad the one you got now is indeed specialized in fear treatment. And good for you there are only 3 cavities.
When I went back to a dentist after not going for years he had way more damage to fix.
You sound like you are in safe hands.

Completely understand you want to get through the dentist first before even thinking about vaccination.

Last I heard it was indeed half July due to Jansen being a little slow with the next delivery. :}

Haha, we can switch back to English. ;-D

So happy you had a positive experience at least. <3

I have no ideas about delays, I really avoid watching the news, exception is the Jeugdjournaal, I like watching that with the kids. And that's more than enough for me. :mcheh:

Chuck the books, if they don't make you feel great or if you really want to read them, try something else. Do you have a tablet or an e-reader? On the tablet I use Aldiko, super simple, free and easy to use. If you're interested you could give me your email in a PM. :mccool: Phone could work too, but you'd need to swipe a little more often to turn pages. :)

I hate watching the news too, but ever since my mom died I've been paying visits to my aunt for her, and she loooooooves the news. And politics. xD

Oh no, I love reading actual books, I only bring an e-reader when I'm on holiday to save space. I just cannot bring myself to concentrate or something, I don't know what it is exactly...

I love books too, having a private library just behind me, but I also found that's it's just easier to share e-books. My sons also got a library membership with their course, so I just have some more options. For the real stuff, I always have to wait for a truck or car to arrive with some books. But I still have spare books, I only want to read Dutch stuff, so I need patience.

Buuut, if interested in the series, I'll send them to you. :) I did notice that it's not a series to read all at once, the setup is the same, the way of storytelling, but I liked the history part of it.

Hope you'll be able to concentrate on anything soon then, maybe after tomorrow? Or otherwise I hope you'll find the 'cause of the not-so-well-being.

/insert digi-hug. :mcsquee:
