Today is 42, and I'm slowly working on a few original pieces that are all interconnected with one another.
Finally figured out where to start with aligning the timelines. :}

Oh, going strong then! :D Is a challenge like this just the nudge you need to get to it?

Yeah, after '19 being as shitty a year as it was I completely fell out of the habit of writing. This challenge is really helping at least get me back in allotting daily time to it. :}

We have one local bar in our town who usually bakes pizza during the weekends, I really like that one. There's another option one town away from us who take it home. Both ok. They really like (spicy) salami here, so that's a good thing I think, when they use real cheese, love it. For a few years now I've not stocked up on deep fried pizza's anymore, 'cause the fresh baked one's are worth the wait. ;-) Other days I'll just make something up.

Nobody controlls the wind, lol. Had a good time after all. :D

But weird about the taste, is it still because of the surgery or covid? Must be super weird to eat stuff and not taste it. >.> That's like, the best thing of eating. D:

Every. Time. Again. xD
I knew I should have just asked.
But I kind of meant it, once corona is done I should come over and have pizza with you xD
Hungary is actually way better than Romania. I can stop by Nins and Julie again on the way :')

As for the loss of taste it was actually the anti bacterial mouthwash I had to use after the surgery, but obviously everyone I told about it immediately took a step back... x'D

Man I can't wait to get out into the world again. Today's craving is Uzbekistan. Apparently they have a dish called 'plov' there which is awesome because, aside from its rad name, it gets prepared in these abnormally large pans which can feed hundreds at a time. I need to see this. And taste this, obviously.

Like, I mean, seriously.
This big.

I hope it'll be over soon. Just came back from our holiday in the Netherlands, we biked around for 6 days and drove back yesterday.

Still kinda messed up, let's just say biking all day is way better than sitting in a car for 12 hours straight. .___.

But we're back again. The house is oddly quiet, we left the kids at the grandparents for this week. :)

Well yeah, who would want to spend the whole day behind the wheel, just non-stop driving, on and on and on, hour after hour. Just imagine. You'd have to be barking mad. :mclol:

Welcome back, though. That feels odd to say though, considering you just left our country :')

Which places did you visit? Do you mean you left the kids with the grandparents in The Netherlands? Double joy if you have to make the trip again :mclol:

Yep, the kids are still abroad, but they'll fly back home with opa. :)

12 hours is too long, but we switched. Staying somewhere for the night is also a waste of time, sooo, in the end this is better. I think. And without kids time went quite fast.

We biked from Vierlingsbeek, to Doornenburg, then just below Beekbergen (all over the veluwe with some unplanned extra, picked the wrong "knooppunt"), Ermelo, Opheusden, Beers and back. Planned on going by ferry's, but we picked all the bridges instead. :) 280km in total I think.

So I finished the 100days of writing challenge i was doing and also did AU_gust. Ended up being completely written out all through September, now I'm saving my energy for November.

How have all of you been doing? :}

AU_gust is a challenge held by a group on Tumblr where on every day of Augustus there is an AU (Alternative Universe) prompt to write with.

Just on prompt filling short stories I wrote over 50k in words.

The majority that I wrote were fanfics for certain series like Star Trek AOS and Yuri on Ice. But I also wrote some original pieces.

Mostly I write in the fantasy segment of storytelling. Ranging from High (think Lord of the Rings) to Urban (American Gods and City of Bones) and even Contemporary (Like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson).
