it's a law being protested against by lots of doctors/nurses, etc even students currently
doctors who visit Manus island can not note any abuse, of any kind now. Otherwise they face 2 years of jail.
that's the super summed up gist of it.
Umm I call them chips, kfc hot chips those kind... not just from kfc though

Us aussies don't like it, the government does..mostly
somehow they think it'll help with something? I'm not sure what.. I know our prime minister doesn't like boat people.
I didn't vote him in.
the potato definitions confuse me.

yeah... too many different names of different potato dishes possible depending on location...
And I really couldn't imagine in what universe/logic that kind of a rule would actually help something... Specially considering the human rights stuff? You know? No abuse? Ugh... People in politics are WEIRD (at least to me they are, no offense)

it's so confusing

I'm at four now. so far, I love the turtle most...
I'll see what happens with the other ones... (I just figured I'd wear them so people who haven't decided yet can see what's up next...)
And yes. Language differences can be difficult sometimes...
so many options and often you only know with the context when you're learning...
