That's as far as I have gotten (I only read a couple pages while waiting for a game I was playing). When I read a bit more, I'll add another spoiler for anyone who's curious!

I've been getting more into "The Empty House". The more I read, the more I like the protagonist. He's thrown into something that could be well over his head, but he's got such integrity that he doesn't even think of trying to duck out of it or turn it over to someone else. He's the one on the spot, so he'll deal with it, because it must be dealt with.
I love that.
I find it so appealing
Also, I really love his relationship with his mother (who suffers from paranoia)

Sanssouci, that story sounds indeed a little crazy! I hope she will change her mind and don't listen to that guy :o
