Hello, Spyder. :) I'm pretty shy, too, so you should fit right in, lol.

Vally~ I really want to watch Gundam Age now. I downloaded it to watch a month back, but it really doesn't look like a typical gundam, with the character style.
Anyway, we should think of a topic everyone can talk about.

Of course you have been. xD (As if I haven't been..)
I got a lot of stuff I need to work on tomorrow, though. I got nominated to make an easter egg for work... two days before the deadline (ugh). And I need to start working on the flyer for RJ's 4th Memorial Benefit. It makes me really happy that his Mom asked me to make it again this year.

Gundam Age...just doesn't feel like a gundam anime to me. Except for the fact I know scream GUNDAM-DONO!!!!!!! whenever I see a Gundam thanks to the main character from Gundam 00 XD (I need to finish the second season of that still >_>)
To make an Easter Egg?
I know the benefit is for RJ? But who exactly was RJ? We have a memorial ride for a family friend who was KIA in Iraq.

I've never watched/read much anime, but I love the art and what I have read really hasn't caught my attention. I'm looking for a good anime vampire book though, I've heard of some but can't remember the titles.

I like anime and manga because of the stories that can be created without the use of having to look cheesy (unless the art and/or animations are) and that they, the authors, can create wonderfully unique works.
And I don't know much about vampire mangas/animes. Only one I can name from the top of my head is the Vampire Knights manga, which is not all that great.

Hmm, I read this trilogy, and I'm not sure what it is considered, whether it's anime or manga or neither. The books are called A Distant Soil, and I really liked the story line and the artwork was beautiful.

Sorry for the late replies, guys!
@Rubiekins
RJ is a childhood friend of mine that lived in Creve Coeur who was KIA in Afghanistan.
Around holidays, our store raises money by making gingerbread houses, decorating pumpkins, etc. We have to actually *make* an egg and then decorate it. But yeah. They told us on the 9th and it's due on the 11th. Wtf?
@Spyder
Hellsing (as well as Hellsing: Ultimate) is really good.
There's also the Vampire Hunter D series (but it's much older).
Trinity Blood was good, imo.
Blood the Last Vampire, Blood+ and Blood-C are all related to one another in some way. I've seen Blood the Last Vampire, bits of Blood+, and the first episode of Blood-C and, at least for the last two, it seems that they're not directly called Vampires, but they are monsters that feed off of blood?
