I say I'm basically white bread. Almost half my heritage is British Isles. ~27% is French, Belgian, and German, with the rest being "Broadly Northwestern European", but ~1% is Scandi, which means its from WAY back. at least 150-200 years. I also am part of the same matriarchical haplogroup as the Norse who went viking. That's right. I'm of Viking blood. lol
I look like I could be related to the folks who adopted me, but I've seen pics of my bio mom, and she and I are very clearly related.

Despite being Mexican and Native American - I'm pretty pale.
I mean, I rarely go outside so.
If I do go outside, I tan very easily xD
People tell me I look more like my dad than my mom.
My dad looks Mexican and Native American.
I just look white \8u/
I mean, my mom had someone ask her "She's mixed, isn't she?" so I must at least look a little Mexican/Native American xD

The first two are my mom's dad, the next ones are her mom. The first three of the dad list are from his dad, and the last two are from his mom. I don't know anything else about his dad's ancestry, except that the Irishman gave us the last name. I know names and stuff for some of the other people. German wise, I'm a Hilgardner (no idea if I spelled it right, though). Italian wise I'm an Ozana (again, no idea if I spelled it right). Scottish wise I'm a Lamb (Lambert). Irish, I'm a Mahan. Finding out that Lamb came from Lambert, and seeing their tartan and a bit of their history made me feel like I finally had roots.

My mom said we're Choctaw and Chickasaw on her side.
My dad doesn't know what he is. I'm very interested to find out, though.
I did learn my last name is Basque - which I didn't know much about xD;

I have no idea what my bio dad brings to the table. Mostly because my dad's side of the family can't figure out where I fit in (I've found two apparent "First" Cousins... who are First Cousins to each other). Birth mom was seeing three different guys around the time I was conceived, so she's not sure which one I came from.
When I was younger, I looked distinctly Scandinavian, with light blonde hair to go with my blue/grey eyes. Now, I look more German/Bavarian, apparently (darker hair now, ashy brown). I do have a slight aquiline nose, which means glasses tend to stay put a little easier.... lol
Basque is a region of Spain, IIRC...

I looked up my last name to see what it meant and it said it was Basque.
Amura went into more details with me but I don't remember them xD;
I had lighter hair when I was a kid, but it's pretty much very dark brown now.
People confuse it with being black.
I do have streaks of red and blonde here and there, though 8u
