Going to the library helps the creators because libraries buy dozens of copies of books and manga so everyone can read them. And then a lot of people read them, find they like them, then buy them for themselves.

That happens to me a lot. I read something at the library and I love it so I buy it for myself.

I just love book smell. Old or new. Both are good.

The library here is sooo huge.. looks like a museum... I never went in to sign up for it when we moved here. The one neighbor offered to take me, but never actually took me. Now my agoraphia has gotten worse, as has my social anxiety... not happening. >A<

I like that JNC releases chapters for free so you can try it out.. x3
More publishers should do this.

All my old books smell like stale cigarette smoke QnQ

I rarely go to the library these days. XD;; I think since Covid, I just don’t want to touch books that have been touched by so many other ppl. XD;;

There are 2 book series I definantly want to buy (not anime/manga related)

The Cat Who series by Lilian Jackson Braun
and
The Vampire Chronicles by Ann Rice
maybe also go for the Mayfair Witch series and the Wolf Gift series by her too. xD

You could try spraying air freshener near the books? Like the odor absorbing kind. I wouldn't do it directly on top of the books, but close by.

I think that some libraries will let you sign up online now a days. And lots of them have Libby. Which is a huge database of books that are available for borrowing online so you don't have to go to the actual library if you don't want to.

I've read a few of the vampire chronicles growing up. It's good righting, just a little pretentious. I was only 9 when I read interview with the vampire and I had to carry around a dictionary with me. (this was before internet was easily accessible)

I think as long as you wash your hands and have your vaccine you'll probably be fine with the books. But again, if you borrow online books there's no way you'll get any infections.

I'm a bit of a germaphobe but not too bad, I think.

My mom left her TV on and it's super loud. She always has it on super fuckin loud.

-pet's light-

At least she watches/listens to it? x'D
Our neighbor offered mom one of those old heavy brick tvs that were big in the 90s/early 2000s.. it was a big one too..

Mom... never... turned the fker on.. and then I had to take it to the dumpster years later cause she got tired of looking at it... =3=

I'd rather she didn't. It's always blaring fox news. All the lies and the blatant transphobia that always comes off of it is so hurtful to me. Seeing as I am a trans person.

For some reason mom doesn't understand why I don't like it.

Mom's TV is one of those brick tvs, but it's small. So I don't think it'll be too difficult to get rid of when the time comes.
