Yeah, whoever first came up with it had a gift for strategic thinking. Me, I just knew it had to be done that way because looking at that High Score board? No other way POSSIBLE those numbers got that high. >.<

It shows you what points you get when you chain, so it seemed pretty straightforward to me that you had to maximize your chains? And of course looking at everything and then matching everything at once is the most you can do.

Well, there are slight variations further, but they are mostly luck based.

For instance, you do not have to look first at every single card to maximize chains; if a level has, for instance, 36 cards total, then you only need to look until you have recorded 18 different items.
From then on, every one you turn over you can immediately match, because you'll be able to do all possible matches. That means more life at the end, which gives a bonus.
Also, there's a matter of luck because sometimes the two cards you turn over to look at will be a match right away; that usually means you lose the chance to maximum your chains (unless the first one was the last card you needed to find all possible items in that level, and the next card was its match, so that it becomes the first in the whole chain. But that's rare.)

But yeah, that's nearly all you can do!

In other news -SUNFLOWERS! Those are beautiful. Are they from one of the permanent stores or a troth token thing or a monthly treasure or knuffel items or event items or what?

Yes, I always keep track of how many different items I've seen so I'll know when to start matching. Of course, that only makes sense.

The sunflowers are from the summer 2014 event I believe? Definitely a summer event item, I could be off about the year though.

Is the Summer event held during the northern hemisphere summer or the southern hemisphere summer?
