Well, I'd guess about a hundred (not counting the different colors)

I have trouble with backgrounds too - they're either too busy or I dunno, I dunno! I need to buy more but I just never do.

To me it's not even that I don't own one that I need it's more like the bg I need dose not exist 
I have missed on a lot of TT sets with bgs, but I still have a lot of trouble even în the Dream avi creator.

You could check the dream avatar creator and I'm sure you'll find some of them.
