Still, not straining to type will be awesome. :D
Understandable.
Kids. I love their youth and innocence. XD
So this morning Mom and Dad had the news on and Joslyn and I were waiting for the time to go to the bus stop. Anyways, Someone was talking about something or someone being really old on tv. I missed what the age was. Anyways, Joslyn hears the age and turns to Grandpa and says "Grandpa, that's older than you!" And she sounded so surprised that something was older than Grandpa. XD I about died. It was so pure and innocent!

Chrizi; Thank you for thinking of me! I ultimately decided against a feeding tube for now, for various reasons. I’m doing fine on the nutrition and pneumonia fronts for now, it seems!
I will hopefully be able to say hi, at least! Typing will be done with two buttons, and that’ll be exponentially slower.
I may cheat, however, and use my left hand a little until it goes. :D
DC; Aw, that’s so cute. Has she heard of those really old turtles/tortoises?
Koi can live pretty long, too, but they do overeat when presented with the opportunity.

Maybe it’s more “real” to her when a person is old?

I also find it more real when a person is so many years old. Like it's crazy for me to hear about people that are 100 years old but it's totally not a big deal that a building is more than 100. lol.

Probably. lol
I don't usually get surprised over how old someone or something is. Well I do occasionally when someone tells me they're in their 70s to 90s and they act like they're no older than fifty.
I'm tired, but I have things to do today and my daughter has a doctor appointment today. I think they'll be giving her her flue shot too.

I'm super jealous of those people who are pretty old but they're still really active.
I'm still so young but I can barely move around.
It's good she's getting her flu shot. Those anti vaxxers are insane.

Me too. lol I have back problems, so I can't be as active. But unfortunately I've gotten a little too lazy and I need to get back in shape. It's hard since all the food and soda are always in view and reach. u.u And as you guys know I work in the house as my mother's care provider and I rarely have time for anything. In fact most of these long comments I leave take me about ten to twenty minutes or more because I have to get off the computer a lot to take care of her. And when Joslyn's home from school, same thing.
Yes, I'm glad during the measles outbreak parents either had to vaccinate their kids or they had to stay home. It's not fair to endanger other kids just because you're a f***ing idiot. I make sure Joslyn's caught up on her all of her shots and if I hear on the news about something that requires a vaccination for kids, I call the doctors the next day and ask if she needs it. I am taking no chances. She means everything to me.
So yesterday evening I had to go to the bathroom and my daughter came down for some water and she was talking to her grandpa.
I come out, Joslyn had gone back upstairs, and my dad looks at me and says: "Do you know how much her arm hurts from the shot?
Me: I'll bite. How bad?
Dad: She told me it hurts to shrug.
Oh gawd! lol I know it hurts, but wow. But she did really well, the doctor used a spray, (she called it Magic Spray) anyways it was a numbing agent and it cut down the pain. Joslyn and I talked and the nurse gave her the shot and Joslyn hardly noticed. She didn't like the spray because it was cold, but she did very well.

I've got all the problems. lol. It sucks.
I need to lose weight but it's hard to do when I can't exercise much. And I have very little will power to not eat a lot.
I think that's normal isn't it? Hurting to shrug?
She should make sure to keep moving her arm around or it might lock up. That happened to me once.

I’ve had that numbing spray before!
I have a bit of trauma regarding needles because to diagnose me, doctors stuck a needle into a nerve tumor while I was awake.
0/10 would not recommend
I was 6, I think.
