That's absolutely wild! It's unaffordable for anyone who's not rich, which isn't at all how housing should be considering shelter is a basic human need.

True, but when you know that the last 5 ministers on the housing department all had investments in either rental or building companies, it's not that surprising. :}

I hate that governments, that are supposed to serve the interests of the people, have all become self-serving once they gained power.

And there is very little we can do against it. They say; 'you get what you vote for' but that is a lie. As we can't directly vote for who gets what ministerial, we have no say who they pick for those positions. :}

I read something in college that explained that government wouldn't be bad if we wouldn't get stuck being one type of government all the time. That if we switched to different kinds like socialism or something other than democracy constantly, we'd be a better nation.

That would be interesting, but seeing as that would require a change of our Constitution as the current way is written all through it. I never see that happen. :}

Well, Americans did just recently throw out roe vs wade, so as long as it's to the detriment of citizens I don't see why not. I couldn't imagine my country doing well for anyone right now. it's all just been a big disappointment. :c

World politics right now is all one big depressing detriment to society. :}

It's a presidential election year in the states and I can't stand it. I have opinions but I usually keep them to myself, lol.
