I stopped collecting too. They’ll convert the event currency back into FPs right? If so, I’m not using them to buy extra items. XD

Well I don't know? I know they used to anyway, they'll say something in an announcement that "after the event, event currency will be converted" or something. At least, that's how it used to be...?
