According to Canadian government website, we already signed ACTA back in October!

Acta is open to signatures until the 31st of March, 2013. It won't be until then, that it will come into effect, if I'm reading things correctly. Once that deadline passes any countries that have signed it will have to abide by it.
However, until then, it is possible to encourage a country's government not to sign it. I'm looking right now if it is possible for a country to rescind their signature (take it back that is). I think it is, but I'm not sure and if anybody more knowledgeable were to help me look that'd be awesome.

The problem with Black March is that we still give all the power to the large greedy corporations. I read an awesome post explaining this a lot better, I wish I could find it.
Edit: Found it

Honestly? I don't care much for it either, but the only other ACTA related thing I've found was a petition for which all links seem to have disappeared and/or died and only had about 1000 signatures last I saw it.
If nothing else all of this back and forth keeps the subject alive and in topic.
The anti-acta movement needs a singular go to place for management, like the stop SOPA/PIPA movement which had the 'demand progress' website as its keystone.

I just found this today on ACTA:
http://tmblr.co/ZG3PXyFEfnOrHas a lot of different links to different places. The only link that doesn't work is the one for Europe.
Edit: And this one:
http://tmblr.co/ZG3PXyFF35dpAll links work and has a lot more information.

The Europe one still isn't working but here are links to two more anti-ACTA petitions.
Link 1Link 2@Hikari: You should still be fine coming on here for another year. After March of next year though who knows.
KofK could be shut down for any number of reasons. Our discussions on anime/games, being a pet site and having a much larger site (like neopets) shut us down, or for their avatar system (a place like Gaia Online could maybe muscle KofK off the internet).
Big sites like these could try to 'copyright' the 'idea' of online pets/dress-able avatars. Even if they were ultimately denied that claim by law, KofK would be down during the legal proceedings and might not be able to come back up. As far as the big players are concerned, that's a victory too.

There is another Anti-ACTA petition that is still working and gathering forces quite quickly:
