Yes, 4k including flight and accommodation. I brought 2.3k for spending. Haha, I remember only because I did all of the bookings (flights, accom), the budgeting (wrote it for day to day) and I also did the money exchange for my bf and I.

I really like Japanese custard and whipped cream. It's lighter and not super sweet like it is here although they put whipped cream in almost every dessert. It's really odd cause whipped cream is super cheap.

Oh, nice. My friends and I all kinda spread out the B&B payments and flight over the months of planning, so I don't remember it clearly.

Yeh that would be a lot harder to keep track of. I'm sure if I asked my bf how much anything was he would have absolutely no clue. The only thing I got him to buy for me was the Ghibli tickets cause that involved talking to someone over the phone.

Dang, I thought about picking 4 because of what Mikael said but then decided it surely wouldn't come up again right away :D (Kind of a reverse of the gambler's fallacy, I suppose :D)

I sticked to a number in the beginning, but then I decided it's too frustrating because I'd kick myself if you rolled it on one of the days where I didn't post. So now I'm just choosing newly every day :)

I'm curious about this fruit sandwich you like so much. I will definitely try it when I go back! I should learn some Japanese though as I feel awkward with the shop keepers. I like to chat and I feel rude when I stare blankly at someone talking to me 'orz At least I knew enough to tell them I had no clue what they were saying.

Aha, I'm the sort of person who obsessively eats that one thing they like, rather than trying a bit of everything. I'm open to the latter, sure, but once something hits my taste buds just right, I am completely won over.
