Kingdom of Knuffel

Gumbo is a soup that we make a LOT down here. We have to make a roux (I'm from Louisiana and IDK if I spelled that right lol). We make it with okra, and sometimes chicken, sausage, seafood, basically anything that's considered a meat. Some people get really excitable about their gumbo and what can or can't be in a gumbo lol.

is that right? XD;; well i guess canada isn't known for its...gumbo. lol

Hotarla: it's a south USA thing, don't have it up north here. o3o To be honest,I only ever hear of gumbo in tv/movies. x'D

we share the same weather... and even your wild fire smoke from this summer QvQ

Well the wildfires were particularly bad this year. To the point where we even had to wear masks outdoors and you could visually see how the air currents had brought all that smoke pollution to my area.

I had to wear my masks here too.. it was hard to breath.. and my poor air purifier! The poor thing did it's best to keep my bedroom air clean, as I need to keep my window open >A<

Wild Fires are insane.. ono Hope there aren't ANY next year.

I got an air purifier because of this too. I also has to keep windows and (balcony) doors closed.

My allergist suggested I get one because of the pet dander and the neighbors that smoke. I need new filters for it =w=

its hard to tell if they're working tbh. xD;; i mean, sometimes i can tell, like sometimes the scent of my creams will linger a bit in the air so i turn on my purifier at the time and then it goes away. so i guess its doing something? but like i wish i could like SEE it doing something. cuz scent disperses after awhile anyway so i dunno if its the purifier or just time. xD;;
