Yes! My mother uses the jarred version all the time. Cooking a roux can be nerve wracking because they burn so quickly lol.

i don't think we really use roux here. at least not in my family.

I... just suck at making roux.. x'D -remembers first time trying to make Curry from scratch- was gross.. oxo,
Hotarla: I just washed my filter out and I can still smell when my neighbors smoke. I am gonna get the new filters next month. =3= xmas has me all spent. (got present for Rho and Ruru, new boots for winterz, and stuffs for zeke to help his arthritis)

Roux can be pretty gross if you don't make it correctly lol. When we evacuated for hurricane Laura, we went to TN and we couldn't find it in the jar at all, lol.

hum, i don't use my air purifier all that much. then again, apart from some leftover smells from my creams and stuff, i don't get much smells in here.

i'm glad i don't have any of that. the asthma, sometimes, but i only feel my throat start to tickle and want to cough when i'm exposed to cold air.

My anxiety is so bad that I break out in hives. I have to take something to catch up with it before I curl up under a blanket and be completely dysfunctional.

wow that's extreme. i mean, i get anxious too but not to that point. i do have the bad habit of biting my fingernails though.
