I think of the idea. If you have something often, the part that made it a special treat dies down slowly. If you have such an item once with a large span of time between the last experience, then it still seems special.

When you say it like that, then everything aside from Peking Duck, sushi, and steak are no longer a special treat for me. >__>;; Basically what I want to eat comes into the house or I go out and get it... most of it being chocolate, cake, and pizza. XD; But just because I have it often doesn't mean I like it any less... uh, unless I've eating nothing but that treat for a week (as I did once with seaweed), then I'd get sick of it. ^__^;
My brother thinks the way you do, but in terms of music. He dislikes it when I play a song we both like over and over and over.

Over use and the need of something new. If you eat nothing but the flesh of a fish for a long time, eventually, you'll come around to eatting its eye.

Wow, is that true? I /have/ tried fish eye once, but it's nothing desirable. I can't imagine ever getting tired of steak or sushi, though.

It's something that will happen if under the condition of ONLY eatting a certain item and ONLY that item for a period of time. If your only supply of food was fish, the body would go search for what it needs. The eyes are high in protine. Basically, one would eventually eat things they normally wouldn't.

Ah, I see... yeah, eating only one thing isn't healthy for you; you've gotta be well rounded. :3
