Lava lamps cost a whole FC correct? I rarely have any of those.

Yeah, I used to buy a few FC at a time and save one for a lava lamp each time. This was when the lava lamps were first released. My financial situation is different now so I don't get to donate as often, but I'm sure someday the situation will change again.

I have 10 lava lamps from back when I could afford to donate every month. I miss those days a lot.

I use them to mostly farm FP. I put them on my regular knuffel. Level them up, release them into the Knuffeltropolis then readopt them. It's a little time consuming but it's a good way to earn FP.

Although you have to make sure to only use regular knuffel, not event ones. And only if you're okay with possibly losing them because anyone can be looking at the knuffeltropolis and pick them up if you're not careful.

So it might be best to mostly just do it with the ones that stay there all the time.

Yeah hence the reason I stopped at buying lava lamps after 10. 1FC for one is steep lol.

Also my earth knuffel is trained to gather in dark, so technically I have no earth knuffel. Wild

Yes, FC are such a rare comidity today. It's sad. I wish I could afford to get enough to buy ALL the items. But there are a ton of items. And no real life money.


I tried doing that. Training different Knuffel in different elements than what they are. It didn't work out great because I kept accidentally gathering in the wrong element.

Oh no. I have a few for each element. Also after they hit 100 in an element, the remaining experience goes to a random second element.

I heard before that you’re more likely to get dig items if your knuffel has maxed 100 for an element. The only pro for leveling in a different element is that you get more leveling exp. Within element, it’s only around 6-7 exp per dig I think. Outside of its original element, it’s double the exp.

I usually leave them off around 98 but I might start doing a few up to a 100 if you're more likely to get the digging items that way. I always have a time with getting them.

I'm having an easier time finding this year's digging items than I did last year.
