Sometimes I wish people would fully try to educate themselves
on important things like medicine before making decisions. ;
But it doesn't really work that way all the time, I guess.

I won't get birth control unless necessary.
The last time I did, the hormone shifts really messed with me.
I hated it. ;

Also, I really can't stand my step dad.
/full of complaints today.

Hey what do you know, I hate my step-dad too, so glad I no longer live with him.

In my usual style of forcing myself in... hello ~~

I hate birth control. I've had success with condoms (thus far, no scares) and while my period can be pretty bad, it's not as excruciating as it could be, so I don't need them. I avoid the stuff like the plague now. I tried out several brands while I was in High School, and they all ended up with me psychologically impaired essentially, because I was an emotional wreck. Plus I always got stomach pain with them.
I hear if you can manage to stick to a pill for awhile, it'll balance out. I've never been able to last longer than a couple months. x_o

There's something very unnerving about pumping hormones into your body. Considering they regulate most if not all of our emotions, and many other processes... it's a spooky concept, messing with it. I mean, steroids have a bad rep for a reason.

Again, I must say, it's way easier for me to disregard them when I'm not dealing with the issues others are. If I had to deal with the pain some people did, I'd probably be on them.

It's not that I lack education on the meds, I have a good education on them. I just don't like the fact of being depended on something that no one can 100% prove to me is an actual benefit and that it's not all in my mind. They say sex is beneficial in health in certain ways doesn't mean I go out to get laid all the time. Hell once was it for me, I hated it then and won't do it again willingly.

I used to be on the pill. It was an all natural one and didn't mess with me too bad, though it's hard to remember to take it every day, lol.

Now I'm on the shot, get it once every three months, and it's going good so far.

But haven't had any craps or periods in over a year since I'm breastfeeding, so my body doesn't want to start yet. XD

Only time I had birth control was when I was going through chemo
That pill isn't one meant for the masses. It kills the whole hormone cycle entirely, they call it really harsh
But they don't want you bleeding when you're going through chemo so that's what they use

Before and after that I've never been interested in sex so birth control has no use
I have a friend who uses birth control because otherwise she has powerfully painful cramps otherwise

All I know is I wanted it because my body was overreacting, and it's settled down now thanks to the pills. But everyone is different, everyone needs different things. I have a handful of meds I would not be able to live life without and I'm grateful for them. But there's still more I could have that don't exist yet :mccry:

I take the pills on the off chance that they are actually useful. I do want to see my daughter grow up.

I feel bad for my mom, she's on about six different pills and two inhalers. And her body is slowly deteriorating. And her spinal cord is twisted and she can't get surgery because she has a higher chance of being paralyzed. And her hearing is going and they have to wait till a certain amount of hairs or something die and then they will give her a hearing aid.

Oh, I just meant that some parents (typically) make decisions for others without really learning about all their options.

Feather, I like your avi.
I've never entered into an avatar contest though so I don't know how well things go haha.
