i tried using virtual windows on a mac and then sai in it. the lag drove me crazy. ^^;

I think lagging would drive anyone crazy.
Seems there are really some issues with Sai and OS' right now from all what I have heard. I wish you good luck with it. :}

i have windows, but my bf had a mac and was trying to convert me. it didn't pass my "work with sai" test, so i still have windows. XD

I once followed a Photoshop course that had a teacher prefer Mac over windows, but it was deemed to expensive in case any of us broke one of them so we had to do the course on windows computers instead.
The teacher did not manage to miss even a single opportunity to say that something would have been better on the Mac. :}

i wouldn't doubt it for adobe. that program works on both platforms. for the most part, from my experience, macs run faster than a windows with the same specs. not as much background programs running.

I wouldn't really know. Only worked with a Mac once and it went weird on me, so I'm very skittish to really work with them. And they are a bit too expensive to buy just to try out. :}

my work place issued a mac, so i get to use that. it's mostly good, tho since i use word a lot, it's sometimes a bit glitchy.

Tja, I guess if I get a job that requires the use of a Mac I would use one too. I just don't think I'll end up getting one for the home.
I like how Windows works for me. :}
