@Kuuki: Yeah it's true that they've gotten bigger, though I have to admit I prefer it like that, lol. I'm a blind little bat sometimes. I like big screens. xD

@Carrot Cake: It depends on what you're using it for, of course, but a tablet is generally easier to carry and transport, which could make it better for your needs. Especially if you're really just browsing the web, or reading books. My laptop just stays forever in the living room for me to use in the evening while I'm watching TV, while my tablet I'll bring to my friend's place and whenever I go out of town. I've got both because it suited my needs! :D

@Kitalpha Hart: Pfft, that's pretty funny, actually. My tablet is pretty damn big too, so I'm fairly certain it's bigger than a mini laptop as well! XP

a tablet seems like a nice addition. larger screen, with a keyboard, you can consider it like a mini laptop......xD;;

It definitely can be used as one. Of course it depends on what you want to use it for.
I quite like the feel of an actual keyboard to type on because that's what I'm used to but I definitely see the appeal of a tablet.

And I definitely do want something else than my phone because at least if one is stolen you can still limit damages.
Actually, I wish I didn't have to use any banking app on my phone.

well technically you can purchase a keyboard for a tablet. xD ive seen it done before and some products, like apple tablets, even have those keyboard attachable sleeves.

The ones I've seen are a bit too soft for me. But I'll admit I haven't really looked into it.

I've found that most keyboards for apple products are too soft. The one on my laptop is kinda soft and it annoys me a lot. I like some resistance in my keyboards.

Yeah that’s true, about the apple keyboards too soft. Although there are harder ones. And you can go on Amazon to buy a non apple keyboard that can link in via Bluetooth so it’s like wireless.

I just got a tablet! There was a sale from samsung for their new one that came with wireless headphones AND I got a 25% discount from work and other discounts.

I also started looking into keyboards too for a tablet

If we weren't bei ng frugal about finances, I'd probably buy an extra keyboard for our home IPad.
