@Aeri: Yeah, copics are crazy expensive. I would be too scared to use them. DX
@Nuke: Why would you post something that you don't think looks good? I don't mean to come off as harsh on this, but I said in the rules, "Post only positive or constructive remarks on the works shared here, including your own. I like seeing/reading works you feel good about, so if you don't like what you drew/wrote, then you probably shouldn't show it off."
It's just one of those pet peeves of mine's.
As far as I can tell, it looks fine to me, though I'm no pro about these things.

Ah, I'm sorry Hart. I'll take it down. I guess I was hoping I might get some help, but this isn't an art thread. Bleh, I'm having one of those days. I guess it's because it's been a weird Friday and all. -_-;
+On another note, I'm thinking of trying to color with vectors, but I'm kind of confused about what it is exactly. I thought it was layering shapes, but I read a post that said it was like point to point coloring. O.O *research time I guess* Heh, this is definitely not the research I should be doing when I have two papers due soon. >w<;;

If you're feeling ducky there Nuke, you can mail it to me and I'll ink it and send it back to you.
But, that's up to you.

@Nuke: Nah, it's okay, I don't mean to make you feel bad, and I hope you understand where I was going with this. ^^; I'm cool with sharing and critiques and stuff, (and I'm most certainly not implying that you're doing anything like this) but I don't want people to come in and finishing for compliments by showing their art and saying things like, "It sucks."
As I see it, you draw better than me, so I don't really have much to say about what you were sharing, plus, I think the things you considered flaws, I though of more as the artist's style.

sorry OTL i poofed to go take a shower XD
//late response lol''
i have problems drawing traditional since i have a habit of pushing the pencil hard on the paper XD' so when I go to line over it the ink doesn't stay since theres too much lead on it OTL ''
and then wipe my hand across it making one of those pencil streaks lol //clumsy orz
I tried doing the blue pencil before line thing too but i still find computer art easier for me XD; makes it easier to flip the canvas to see if anything is off *-*;;

@Kit: Doo doo, that's cool. I've been on and off with my RP response; this one is turning out better than last night. :D
Lead always gets all over my fingers when I draw with pencil. Like how my fingers prune when they're kept too long in water, I gauge how much time I've spent on a piece by how dark my fingers are when I'm done with a drawing. XD;
I can't trace traditional lineart on a digital medium --once I scan something in, I start to notice a billion flaws. It scares me. o__o;

when i used the actual charcoal pencils it made it worse cause i'm such a mess XDD
lol me too OTL
and i think my perception is off when i draw on paper lol ( because its on a flat surface?) i do okay when its on the screen though o_o

@Aeri- *.* I'd love to have someone work with me on my pickies. But I probably should finish him up and I think I'll take another whack at his hair. A~h clean line art *dreams*
@Hart- I know what you're saying Hart.
I'm being a pill. I swear it's just this day's been so weird. It's the end of the semester here, so it seems like the teachers are pilling on stuff (my lit teacher also dropped a little surprise on our heads today about how he doesn't want our papers to be and I have no idea what he wants. He basically said, "don't do this in your paper" and "I'm not giving you instructions.") Our own college newspaper called out students for not being responsible for the school's budget (does not make sense.) And I guess the wind snapped off a hanging street light and threw it across the road. I don't know if it's stress or what, but I don't feel like I can keep my head level today.
I know my art isn't bad, but I've been at it for ten years and while I've mostly learned on my own I did have drawing workshops and I have taken drawing 101 at college level. I know that's not a good excuse for acting like a d-bag, but I'm rather hyper-critical of myself.

@Kityu: Opposite of me...ish. XD
@Nuke: Ah, it's okay, we all have days like that; good grief, I know I was stressing out white hair from all the work that I had to turn in last week. XD; I'm glad that's mostly over, but I'm doing the whole procrastinating thing all over again. @__@
I think the artist is always their own worst critic; many artists I've seen are that way, and it's not always a matter of skill. I guess it's one of those things that's inside, but if you look at the bright side, it only shows how serious you are about improving your skills.
My RP partner always has to shake some sense into me about my own writing. After seeing the good and the bad in myself, sometimes it's hard for me to make sense of what I can do.

I just wish my teachers wouldn't be late about things and not tell us what we're doing. There's like two weeks of school left, maybe three, but most of my stuff'll be turned in by next week.
I think writers are definitely critical of themselves. I've had a lot of help with writing (more than I want or need >.<) and it should be something I use in the future (though not the kind of writing I enjoy doing.) With drawing I feel like there's no practical reason for me to improve. I wish I could just get over my critical self and enjoy it.
