Bleh! I'm so sorry to hear about your period, mem. Cramps are the worst! >.<
I was suppose to get my last week, had all the symptoms for a week, and then poof, nothing! So I guess I'm skipping this month. >> While I'm happy for no bloods, I could do without the month long crazy hormones and bloating until my next period comes, thanks. x.x
Treat yourself to the stairs and that cookie, mem! Dark chocolate helps with cramps (especially dark chocolate covered dried cranberries - GREAT for relieving cramps!) and boosts your mood through the period blues. And stairs are HARD when you're cramping! >A< Be nice to yourself, luv - you deserve it.
It's so cool that you have a boss that understands! I wish that was something everyone agreed was a perfectly reasonable reason to call out of work, or telework. Sorry, there are currently buckets of blood draining from my body at an alarming rate, I feel like someone is currently falcon-punching me in the uterus, and I've cried three times today over how cute the dog comes over to say hello every morning on my commute to work is. Can I please go home?

I was going to have mine next week but peter has a few days off towards the end of it and I know I'd still be spotting then if I had it so I'll skip and see next month. Suppose prob good thing, I do need to get more period pain tablets and other pain tablets for when I have my period.

Definitely lucky you! I have to stay at home no matter what because I can hardly walk without cramps strong enough to knock me to the floor usually.

@Fire: Luckily this month I only had cramps the day before and the first day. Today was already fine (edit: lol, nope, cramps atm XD but I'm home, and they're not too strong, so it's ok ;>_>), so I took the challenge and went up the stairs. Felt the endorphins rush xD
Yeah, I saw in another thread your period stood you up

You think your hormones will stay on the "pms mode" until you get a bleeding at last? That sucks x.x
I'll have to try out the chocolate covered cranberries, never heard about them being helpful

I think I'll have the other half of the cookies pack right now xD
For me it's: I'm bleeding, I want to cry, wine, scream and howl and maybe squirm a bit, my everything hurts and I'm running to the bathroom every hour and all of you annoy the hell out of me. Better send me home so I don't kill you all and myself in the end with that stapler ;>_>
Yeah, it should be normal and acceptable that you may skip a day if you're on your days. I guess it's not acceptable only because
of Julez that is, not every woman suffers as much. Plus not everyone has an office job that allows them to do all the work from home. ... Wow, I'm terribly lucky
@River: Skipping it sounds awesome XD But not for me.
I've been using period-dedicated OTC pain killers lately and if that didn't help, I'd get my prescription med. Works slowly, but at least the pain stays away for quite some time and most of the time I only take one sachet a day
@Julez: Yeah, lucky you
Freak >_> LOL
@jacob: Because fibro adds up? x.x

@Mem I guess so! But even before my other symptoms were bad I had the bad cramps. It used to just be in the evenings and the middle of the night for some reason (so annoying getting woken up by cramps) but now it lasts for more days and happens earlier in the day too. Which I guess is either the fibro or just my womb being like "have a damn baby already
"
XD

Aw *hugs everyone*
I hate being woken up by cramps. I rarely have cramps in my legs.

I very much rather be woken up by cramps in the middle of the night than getting my period at work... I sincerely rather get my period at home, whatever time. At least I can comfortably dress/undress myself, whine, cry and squirm while trying to pacify my stupid cramps.

Oh, definitely. I still have nightmares about getting them at school 10 years later.
